Areas of Specialization: Men with commitment issues; Women dealing with anxiety.
I love being a therapist! I love getting to know my clients. I love being with them as they struggle and face the immense task of changing. I love challenging them in order to find meaning and connection in their lives. I love all of it. For me, it is an honor and privilege to be a witness to my client’s process and growth. I always focus on the therapeutic relationship between my clients and myself because that is where I feel therapy happens and new, lived experiences develop.
Many of my clients have found me because they have been struggling with substances, are emotional disconnected, or are tired of their anxiety controlling their lives and relationships.
I help my clients find meaning. I identify, address, and challenging “messed up” thinking. I explore the motivations behind certain behaviors, especially those that are causing problems in their lives. Most importantly, I meet my clients where they are so that they can feel heard, seen, and connected. I am a non-judgmental witness to their process.
I have my Masters in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island and I have been practicing for 4 years. My approach is holistic, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential and Relational Therapy, as well as Mindfulness to promote healing and integration.
